These include<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">onboard wireless sensors to reduce wiring and weight, new<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">greenhouse gas sensors, real-time turbulence reports, new<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">systems to reduce fuel usage during landings, outer wing<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">access doors made from recycled carbon fi bre, and NASA<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">spacing methods to improve landing effi ciency.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&ldquo;The ecoDemonstrator is focused on technologies that<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">can improve airlines&rsquo; gate-to-gate effi ciency and reduce fuel<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">consumption, emissions and noise,&rdquo; said Boeing&rsquo;s president &amp;<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">CEO, Ray Conner. &ldquo;Through the ecoDemonstrator programme,<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Boeing continues to invest in innovation that benefi ts the<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">environment and our customers.&rdquo;<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The initiative follows a previous ecoDemonstrator<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"direction: ltr;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">programme conducted in 2011 using a B737 aircraft.
