{"id":430,"date":"2013-06-22T19:51:00","date_gmt":"2013-06-22T16:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tourism.plus4d.com\/2013\/06\/22\/50269506492991\/"},"modified":"2013-06-22T19:51:00","modified_gmt":"2013-06-22T16:51:00","slug":"50269506492991","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tourismworld-seyaha.com\/?p=430","title":{"rendered":"Jazeera Airways relishes performance report"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"direction: ltr;\">jazeera Airways noted a 91% on-time performance rating, according to statistics released in its April 2013 Operational Performance Report as ranked by the independent US-based OTP tracker FlightStats.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">The report, which presents market share figures based on official statistics from Kuwait&rsquo;s Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA), also showed that Jazeera Airways grabbed significant market shares on routes serving Amman, Beirut, Bahrain, Dubai, Sharm El Sheikh, Assiut, Luxor, and Sohag.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Jazeera Airways secured a 38% market share on the Kuwait-Beirut route, a 15% market share on the Kuwait-Dubai route, and a 10% market share on the Kuwait-Bahrain route.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">The airline also saw an increase in passenger numbers on the Kuwait-Dubai and Kuwait-Jeddah routes, with a 6% and 8% increase respectively compared to April 2012.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Jazeera Airways was also the leading airline on the Kuwait-Amman route capturing a 44% market share, with an increase of 20% in passenger numbers on the route compared to last year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">On the Egyptian routes, the airline saw an increase of 27% in passenger numbers on the Kuwait-Sharm El Sheikh route compared to the same period last year, 6% on the Kuwait-Assiut route, 47% on the Kuwait-Luxor route, and 39% on the Kuwait-Sohag route.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Jazeera Airways was the leading airline serving Sharm El Sheikh, Assiut, Luxor, and Sohag with a 62%, 53%, 72% and 54% market share respectively<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>jazeera Airways noted a 91% on-time performance rating, according to statistics released in its April 2013 Operational Performance Report as ranked by the independent US-based OTP tracker FlightStats.
