In an effort to enhance its customer service with Arabic speaking clientele, Turkish Airlines recently launched an Arabic Call Centre.

Arabic-speaking passengers booking or travelling Turkish Airlines can now get queries answered in their language as tele-callers receive calls from UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco.

Adem Ceylan, vice president of marketing and sales for Turkish Airlines in Middle East & Cyprus, said: “The Middle East is one of the most important regions for Turkish Airlines and we have seen total passengers carried increase by 10% in the first quarter of 2015 reaching 1.3 m passengers from 1.18 m passengers for 2014.”

“There has been an increasing demand for passengers travelling from this region to have Arabic speaking customer service agents addressing their needs over the phone. The launch of a dedicated Arabic call centre serves that need,” he added.

The call centre was launched in Amman for travel agents and attended by senior Turkish Airlines officials.
