Miss World Manushi – Brilliant Answer !

India’s Manushi Chhillar made the entire nation proud by winning the coveted Miss World 2017 beauty pageant in Sanya, China, on Saturday evening. The win comes 17 years after Priyanka Chopra brought home the coveted title in the year 2000. She became the sixth Indian woman to be crowned as the Miss World after Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999) and Priyanka Chopra (2000).

The 20-year-old from Haryana, who is a medical student, edged out top five contestants from England, France, Kenya and Mexico. Manushi Chhillar and the other four finalists had to face the question and answer round which would determine the Miss World. The Brilliant Answer reply by Manushi for her question received a huge applause from the audience

Manushi competed with women from over 108 nations. She was presented the crown by Stephanie Del Valle, the last year’s Miss World winner from Puerto Rico at the event in Sanya City Arena in China. Besides Manushi, The first runner-up was Stephanie Hill from England, while Andrea Meza, hailing from Mexico, was announced the second runner-up.
