Munich Airport presents its tenth integrated report

tten-The new integrated report of Flughafen München GmbH (FMG), entitled “What a difference,” is out now, with all relevant data, facts, and information on fiscal year 2019. An online version is available at bericht2019.munich-airport.de. The name says it all: Once again, the new report shows where Munich Airport is making a difference. The report focuses on three core challenges of the future: Requirement-oriented expansion of the infrastructure, solutions to demographic trends, and shaping of digital transformation.

This year’s integrated report is the 10th edition – emphasizing Munich Airport’s role as a pioneer of integrated reporting. As ever, the anniversary edition combines information on financial and non-financial performance with results of the airport group in a single publication. The economic issues and the social and environmental aspects of airport operations are dealt with equally here. For instance, issues like the environment, employees, and society are treated in exactly the same way as the content of a conventional annual report. “We are showing how our business activities impact on economic, environmental, and social matters, and what contribution we as a company are making here,” explained Jost Lammers, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Human Relations Officer of Flughafen München GmbH. “In doing so, we are promoting transparency and creating a basis for dialog.”

The success of this holistic publication speaks for itself: FMG has already won over two dozen prizes since publication of the first edition of the integrated report for 2010. These include the prestigious awards of the publisher ECON and the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), as well as the BCM Award of the Content Marketing Forum.

Printed on recycled paper in line with the company’s own standard, the hard-copy version of the report will be available from the end of July.
