Jordan is safe and very friendly!!!

Many friends thought we were foolish to travel to the Middle East at this time…they couldn’t have been more wrong. Jordan is safe and very friendly and we had an excellent tour of Petra and Wadi Rum..Our Van driver (Fasra), the guide at Petra and our Bedouin driver in Wadi Rum all did an outstanding job to ensure that we saw everything possible. All arrangements were conducted professionally and without a hitch.  for us. I would highly recommend them for those who want to see the real Jordan.

Friendly and professional service

I booked my trip to Jordan pretty last minute and my boss had recommended Above and Below as an agent members of staff had used on visits to Jordan. I actually made my own arrangements to go to Jordan in the end and even from Amman to Aqaba. My plans came undone a bit when I went to book a car online during the busy Hajj period as I wanted to visit Petra and Wadi Rum. Booking with the big car companies online was a waste of time as there was nothing available on short notice. I decided to try the agent (around 9.30 p.m.) beside my hotel, the Al Qidra, and I was stunned when I realized the agent was Above and Below whom my boss had recommended just days before.
Anyway, they had no cars available for the next morning but one available the day after but they were able to arrange a driver for the very next morning to take me to Petra. My driver, Khaled, was at the door of the hotel the next morning right on time and was a mine of information going to and coming from Petra. He couldn’t have been nicer and more professional.
The next day I was able to drive my rental from Above and Below to Wadi Rum so it couldn’t have worked out better. It’s not too far from Aqaba and is a lovely drive.
I’d really like to thank Moufid and Khaled for all their great help. Their office was next door to my hotel which is right at the heart of Aqaba.
Aqaba is a beautiful town by the way and the locals are very friendly and welcoming. I had a fantastic time in Jordan. I wouldn’t spend too much time in Amman but move about the country. Aqaba is a great base for Petra and Wadi Rum.
