*هيئة تنشيط السياحة تدعم استضافة فعالية دولية للفنون القتالية المختلطة في الأردن*

 

عمّان – أعلنت هيئة تنشيط السياحة دعمها لاستضافة فعالية دولية للفنون القتالية المختلطة في المملكة، ضمن جهودها لتنويع أدوات الترويج السياحي وتعزيز حضور الأردن على خارطة الفعاليات الدولية.

 

ووقعت الهيئة لهذه الغاية اتفاقية مع الاستشارية الأردنية للفنون القتالية (Jordan Combat Consulting)، لدعم الجوانب السياحية والترويجية والإعلامية المصاحبة لفعالية Jordan MMA Week، التي تقام بالتعاون مع اتحاد الفنون القتالية المختلطة.

 

ويركز دعم الهيئة على الاستفادة من الحضور الدولي للفعالية وما يصاحبها من مشاركة مقاتلين وضيوف وتغطية إعلامية، للتعريف بالأردن ووجهاته السياحية والوصول إلى شرائح جديدة من الجمهور في الأسواق الإقليمية والدولية.

 

وتأتي الفعالية في ظل الحضور الجماهيري المتنامي لرياضة الفنون القتالية المختلطة عالمياً، إذ يتابع هذه الرياضة مئات الملايين حول العالم.

 

كما ستشمل الأنشطة السياحية والإعلامية المصاحبة عدداً من الوجهات والمواقع في المملكة، فيما ستُنفذ الأنشطة المقامة في المواقع التاريخية والأثرية بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة، ووفق متطلبات حماية المواقع والحفاظ عليها.

 

وأكدت الهيئة أن دعم الفعاليات الرياضية الدولية يأتي ضمن توجهها للاستفادة من الرياضة والإعلام والترفيه في الترويج للمملكة وتعزيز حضورها أمام جماهير وأسواق جديدة.

 

ومن المقرر الإعلان عن تفاصيل الأنشطة السياحية والترويجية المصاحبة للفعالية خلال الفترة المقبلة.

 

*Jordan Tourism Board supports international MMA event in the Kingdom*

AMMAN — The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) has announced its support for an international mixed martial arts event to be hosted in Jordan, as part of its efforts to diversify tourism promotion tools and strengthen the Kingdom’s presence on the international events calendar.

 

To this end, JTB signed an agreement with Jordan Combat Consulting to support the tourism, promotional and media activities surrounding Jordan MMA Week, which will be held in cooperation with the Jordan MMA Federation.

 

The Board’s support will focus on leveraging the event’s international reach, including the participation of fighters and guests and the accompanying media coverage, to showcase Jordan and its tourism destinations to new audiences across regional and international markets.

 

The event comes amid the growing global popularity of mixed martial arts, a sport followed by hundreds of millions of people around the world.

 

Tourism and media activities surrounding the event will also feature a number of destinations across the Kingdom. Activities staged at historic and archaeological sites will be planned in coordination with the relevant authorities and in line with site-protection requirements.

 

JTB said its support for international sporting events forms part of its wider approach to using sport, media and entertainment to promote the Kingdom and expand Jordan’s reach among new audiences and markets.
